The Society for the Preservation of Sapphic Social Mores (also known as SPPSSM)’s mission is to edify the Sapphic and LGBTTSQQAI community on contemporary etiquette conundrums, eliminating such errors as pairing sandals with socks, unending break-ups, and mis-pronoun-ing last night’s hook up. Founders and Directors Phyllis Troubridge and Beatrice Llwelleyn have been schooling queers on good manners and social graces since 2008 on tour and in Boston with The Femme Show as well as at PortFringe (Portland, ME) MondoHomo (Atlanta); Dixon Place (NYC), Paint the Town (la) Red (Boston); and the 2012 Femme Conference (Baltimore).
