The lovely Amy Raina wasn't able to make it to Boston for our shows this year, but she put on a beautiful show in Portland and performed her new piece, Trust A Femme there. I'd love for you to read it on her website.
This is my favorite part:
I imagine her sitting on a lavender couch with Oscar Wilde
He has a flower in his pocket and writes poetry
Her pen is a needle
Piercing through the taught fabric like a page
Pulling the floss through again and again
It was her grandma that taught her, how to separate
How to back-stitch,
And dot the I’s with french knots.
