We were so busy schooling queers on etiquette and safety (where are your bike helmets, philly?) poppin’ pasties and rocking out to “femme bots have feelings too” that we didn’t have time to update you with our travel stories…. so here goes.
Albany
The queers of Albany were apparently at some sort of extreme mud race all day, and then they raced back to Steamer 10 for the show.

I think the Portland show was our funniest show ever. We just laughed and laughed, and the audience did too. Thanks to the guest artists and to Mayo Street Arts for a great night.

Touring cast, Ms. Gingerita, Lisa Bunker and the Dirty Dishes. If we look a little washed out, blame the sunshine streaming in through the window.
Then it was back to Boston for a show and reception at UForge Gallery in JP. It was so great to perform right in our neighborhood! Thanks to Fazenda Coffee Roasters, City Feed and Supply, Ula Cafe, Taza Chocolate, Monumental Cupcakes and the Pita Pit for tasty snacks.

UForge Gallery is all about art for everyone! 767 Centre St. in JP. You should check it out.

This map represents our updated tour dates AND our current kickstarter status. With 12 days to go we’ve raised 40% of our goal. That could get us to our first two shows in Portland and Boston and almost ??? to Albany. Help us get there!

The Femme Show is the country’s only touring show exploring all aspects of femme identity from a variety of queer perspectives. This is queer art for queer people, that can be challenging, introspective, brazen, funny, sexy, and gritty but always powerful. The Femme Show is delighted to serve up an all-new production featuring a diverse, gender-blending, genre-busting show that will give you new ways and new reasons to think about femininity. Featured performers at Food for Thought Books Collective include Gigi Frost, Johnny Blazes, Alicia Greene and Miel Rose.
