Tell-All Tuesday Featuring Miss Gingerita
Whether she’s got her clothes on or off, we love Gingerita.
Tell us about your first Femme ShowMy first femme show was during the fall of 2009- it was really nice performing
with such a diverse group of women and being included as part of the team.
The best part was warming up to Ani Difranco songs and talking backstage.

Since October, I performed in the Slutcracker and celebrated the holidays.
Starting in February, I’m choreographing two new solos for Mardi Gras!!!
Why do you think the Femme Show is important?
Why do you think the Femme Show is important?
The femme show is important to me because it makes me feel included!
I love being part of a group of intellectual, sassy, sexy women. This show
has made me think about my gender identity, sexual orientation and art.
It inspires me to become more than just a dancer…
What are you most excited about for the Femme Show in 2010?
I’m excited about creating new work! Maybe even talking onstage.

I love to dance!!! I also love dressing up and “being a character” whatever this means!
Sweet or savory?
Savory….I love slow, drawn-out activities with sultry and sensuous movements
