August Re-Cap: Machine Show
August is a busy month here at the Femme Show! We performed at Machine, posed in the park in our rufflebutts, and hit the road for Philadelphia and Baltimore. And in between yours truly and a crop of hardy volunteers have been working tirelessly to bring you our all new show!

Pointe shoe demolition derby
Maggie and Johnny did some serious ballet. You know what that means: barre in a bar and some pointe show hammering. This is the t-shirt I wear on every travel and tech day, since the first show in JP in 2007 when I was up on the ladder in my jeans, with wrenches and god knows what other kind of femme paraphernalia coming out of my pockets. It’s good luck.

Maggie, Lee and Kathy
Two of my biggest fans, Kathy and Lee, came to Machine to see us! They are amazing activists and supporters of queer culture.
