25 things about the Femme Show
- The Femme Show was born about two years ago. I went to Fiore’s, the adorable vegan-friendly bakery across from my house and wrote the initial description and call for proposals in my notebook. I still have it.
- The week before the first Femme Show, one of my dear friends gave me a care package that contained glue sticks, purple leggings, and a back issue of On Our Backs.
- The first show was in a church basement. People think this is strange, but I don’t, possibly because I used to work for gays for god.
