New Security Enhancements!
We’re working hard to ensure your security! Click here to read more about what we’re doing to protect your information, what current registered users need to do and what new users will have to do to register with the site!
Recently, we’ve been having several spam bot users “registering” with the site. The intent of these registrations has yet to be determined, but we’re enacting better security measures to protect all of us from these entities. Registration security is being tightened by adding additional layers of verification, including requiring all new users to fill out the First and Last Names fields and adding captcha verification (that image of random letters in a box which you’ve probably seen this if you’ve bought tickets online.) These security measures, will ensure that new users who register with the site are real people.
For our existing users, we’d like to be sure that we protect the security of your information to the best of our ability. It is with this in mind that we respectfully ask you to update your registration information with your First and Last name.
To protect your online identity you can use a pseudonym, we’re not trying to pry, just trying to be sure that everyone registered really does exist. If you do choose to use a pseudonym, please use one that is easily recognizable as a name - please don’t use strings of random numbers and letters - unless your pseudonym is in L337. This is also a great time to give yourself a cool nickname (optional). After you have filled out the First and Last Name fields, please be sure to select your desired name to be displayed when you make comments. You can select this name from the “Display name publicly as” drop down menu. Your name will never appear on the site, in comments or anything else, without your permission.
Please visit The Femme Show Online or click the following link (http://www.thefemmeshow.com/blog/wp-login.php?loggedout=true) to start the update process. Accounts that choose not to comply with the new security standard will be terminated at the end of 7 days. Users wishing to re-register are more than welcome to do so, but will need to comply with all required new user registration fields. If you have forgotten your password, please click the “Lost Your Password” link under the log-in box. This should also work if you’ve also lost your user name! Please e-mail me with any questions or concerns you have about this or anything else regarding the site.
Thank you so much for your patience, understanding and support.
In enhanced security!
