What is Femme Community?

Femme community is something that I have been thinking a lot about recently, and it’s something that I’m not sure I have any real answers about. I’m really curious about what femme community, or even just the idea of femme community means to other femmes. I’m curious, what does femme community look like? Sound like? Smell like? Taste like? Is it possible? Has it already happened?
It’s only been in the past year of so that I’ve developed any sort of conscious community of femmes in my life, and during that time I’ve watched other femmes in my community do the same. Having a community of femmes has become something important to me, something I crave, and yet something that I struggle with at times. Read the rest of this entry »
